Meet Cara!

Cara is a Wisconsin native who lived in Washington for over 30 years. She is a new resident to Colorado but absolutely loves it so far. Always very passionate about working with animals, she decided to focus on her dream to help other pet owners have the best possible relationship with their dogs.
She graduated with honors from Animal Behavior College. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowleged Assesed, which requires 300 hours of teaching and passing a written test on subjects such as, Instruction, Animal Husbandry, Ethology, Learning Theory and Equipment. This certification requires continuing education credits, so Cara will continue to have the most current information available. She is also currently enrolled at the Academy for Dog Trainers, which is an exceptional 2 year program.
Cara has been training dogs professionally since 2012. She specializes in puppy socialization and reactive dogs. Having owned a reactive dog she understands her clients needs and how to help them.
Cara has one son, Talon. She also has one dog, Sierra, that is a Formosan Mountain Dog.
She has fostered several dogs from Saving Great Animals, and she has also volunteered at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA.
In 2012, Cara, along with her son, volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT. They enjoyed an incredible vacation getting the opportunity to help out so many amazing animals.
