Private Lessons

Awesome Dog offers private one-on-one, tailored lessons for you and your dog(s).

There are many advantages to private lessons:

More hands on instruction
Ample time to address your specific questions or concerns
A reactive or distracted pet will receive focused attention
At home challenges addressed at your house (i.e. resourse guarding, cat chasing, barking or jumping when the doorbell rings)
Training experience prior to entering a group class
Flexible scheduling
Handling skills, having paws, ears, tail, mouth touched.
Working with you and your vet/groomer to make vet or grooming appointments low stress.

In private lessons we can work on:

Basic Manners
Advance Manners
Issues or behavior problems
Tricks/Games
Nosework

Awesome Dog will guide you through step by step training and invest the time to illustrate new behaviors and clarify when they should be used and why. We will also explain why dogs behave the way they do and what we can do to address the issues.

Do you wish you had a well-trained dog but don’t have the time?
Awesome Dog offers in-home lessons when you are not home. This service is similar to Board and Train but your pup gets to stay at home. The number of sessions depends on extent of training you desire. Please call or email for more information.

Private one hour lessons at your home are $125 each or $475 for a package of four. Lessons expire one year after purchase. Travel charges may apply if you are outside the travel area.
